Beware of Fake Posts

Alright. I didn't think Blogger was this exceedingly stupid, but apparently it is. If anonymous commenting is enabled, you can post as not only whatever handle you want, but also link to a Blogger profile as your web page, so that when you post, your post is indistinguishable from a post made by the actual user you are linking to.

I do not wish to disable anonymous comments, just to warn everybody that this is happening. So, somebody claiming to be Bill White, Jim Ramm, or anybody else isn't necessarily them.

I will delete obvious fakes, such as posts from Bill White, who shouldn't be able to post from a TOS'd account.

Because Bill White's account was disabled by Google.

Disabled != deleted.
